About Dr. Suzie Carmack

With 35 years of experience as a coach, scholar, speaker and performing artist, Dr. Suzie Carmack empowers soul-driven leaders to heal themselves, their teams and their organizations through the art and science of communication.

Communication and Leadership Coach

As a dual certified coach (ICF PCC and NBC-HWC), she has coached 100's of leaders, coaches and creatives to authentically align their life story with their soul's mission -- so they can heal their well-being and show up in divine service to the greater good. As the Human Dimensions Team Lead at NewBridge Partners, she provides executive coaching and leadership development training facilitation for leaders, teams, and organizations in the public and private sectors. 

Communication and Well-Being Scholar

As a Senior Scholar for the Center for the Advancement of Well-being at George Mason University, Dr. Carmack conducts applied research that advances understanding of the role communication plays in well-being, with a focus on the impact of self-compassion training on leader well-being, team performance and organizational culture.

Best-Selling Author

Dr. Carmack is the author of three books and two book chapters sharing her communication-centered interventions for well-being. 

In her upcoming book Communication is Medicine (2026), Dr. Carmack will share inspiring lessons learned from her research (helping leaders, teams, organizations and agencies to harness the healing power of communication) and her own inspiring life story. 

Speaker and Performing Artist

Dr. Carmack has delivered over 100 keynote talks internationally and coached 1000's of humans to heal the way they speak on stage as a coach, director and college professor. With performance credits in film television and theatre, she is currently playing the role of Baptista (Katherine's mother) in Taming of the Shrew with NovaNightSky Theatre Falls Church, VA (June 2025.)
