Forget Work/Life Balance
Get Strategic About Your Lifestyle

You're In Great Company.

I have been honored to create customized and research-driven well-being promotion and performance solutions for over 3,000 individuals, organizations, universities & government agencies, like these:

Here's my story.

I was 47. On the outside, my life looked pretty good.

I had turned my life around after a tough divorce a few years before. As a single mom of three teenagers, I had put myself through a PhD program, and my kids were doing well. I was a consultant doing big things for the health and security of our nation. And I had fallen in love with an amazing man.

Yep, I had re-created the American dream for myself.

And yet, I was exhausted every day -- and secretly wondering if I could keep up the pace of work and life. I was overwhelmed and tired -- and knew deep down I needed more than extra sleep.

So one day I stumbled upon the measures for burnout and compassion fatigue in my well-being research.

And the rest as they say is history...

Because I realized that I had them. And, I knew that no matter how much I studied the science and strategy behind optimized well-being (or thriving, flourishing, or whatever you want to call it) I could no longer run away from the fact that I needed more than just self-care to live an optimal life -- I needed the power of connection and compassion to heal me from them.

So that is the day I decided to make a well-being ultimatum with myself. I would later write a book on how I did it, and today I teach leaders, educators, teams and organizations how to use the framework to protect themselves -- and those they lead -- from burnout and compassion fatigue so that they can truly thrive.

But make no mistake.

I'm on this journey with you. Every day, I must renew my commitment to well-being and make my well-being ultimatum all over again. It's a lifestyle and a strategy -- but one that has enabled me to truly love my life again (and make a bigger impact with more joy and less overwhelm).

I'd love to help you to discover how you can make your own well-being ultimatum in your own unique way -- so that you can feel as good on the inside as life can be on the outside.
